How Our Husky Tours Work
On our husky safaris in Lapland, each person drives their own sled with a dedicated team of huskies. From the moment you arrive, you’ll get to meet your dogs and get outfitted with all the winter gear you’ll need for your husky ride in Lapland. After packing for the tour, the evening wraps up with a shared dinner at the guesthouse, and you can unwind in the sauna if you’d like.
The next morning, your guide will walk you through the basics of sledding and show you how to harness the dogs. Then, you’ll be ready to set off on your husky ride through Lapland’s breathtaking landscapes.

Want to get acquainted with the dogs before the tour? You can learn about some of our husky champions beforehand. Each husky has its own personality, and while it might take a bit to remember their names, you’ll quickly get to know them as you work together during your husky safari in Lapland.
