Booking policy
Booking confirmation is finalised upon receipt of 25% deposit payment from the operator. Final payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to the start of the trip. If the Final payment has not been received within 21 days of the start of the trip, Petter Karlsson Sleddogs reserves the right to cancel the tour.
Under no circumstances are booking deposits refunded in case of cancellation. Late bookings made within 45 days of the start of the tour require full payment in order for the reservation to be confirmed and accepted. Please note the booker must be at least 18 years of age to make a valid booking.
In case Petter Karlsson Sleddogs cannot accept a booking, any money will promptly be refunded.
Terms of payment
Full payment should be received no later than 30 days prior to start of the tour. Petter Karlsson Sleddogs reserves the right to cancel any reservation if full payment has not been received 21 days prior to start of the tour.
In case of cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.
All payments must be made by credit card in Swedish Kroner (SEK) or via bank transfer. Additional costs incurred by bank transfer or currency exchange is at the cost of the guest.
Changes
All changes or alterations to be made to the reservation shall be made in writing within office hours in Sweden. Requested changes are subject to the written approval of Petter Karlsson Sleddogs.
Own risk, liability and responsibility
All activities offered by Petter Karlsson Sleddogs are conducted at the guests’ own risk. It is the responsibility of the guest to realise their own limitations and physical fitness before booking any of the tours offered. Petter Karlsson Sleddogs disclaims any liability for loss, accident, injury, damage, sickness or any other event beyond Petter Karlsson Sleddogs’ control. Petter
Karlsson Sleddogs requires all guests booking through operators to have sufficient medical and travel insurance including winter sports. Petter Karlsson Sleddogs’ guests are given the right to borrow warm clothing at no extra charge (shoes, overalls, hats, mittens).These will be checked out to each particular guest and upon return from the tour in case of damage or loss, the guest will incur the cost for replacement or fixing of the gear (normal wear and tear of gear will not be charged).
All guests are required to pay attention to safety guidelines and follow instructions given by the dog mushing guide. Failure to do so can result in danger and injury to the guest, other guests, and/or dogs. Consequently guests will be excluded from the tour without the right for compensation of any kind or refund.
Petter Karlsson Sleddogs’ Responsibilities
Petter Karlsson Sleddogs shall exercise pro-activity, contingency, due diligence and appropriate health and safety measures in accordance with the laws and regulations of Sweden and Swedish standards of recommended practices of program services at all times when delivering offered services under these terms and conditions.
Operator Responsibilities
Tour operators are responsible for ensuring all guests (including any persons who is added or substituted at a later date), whether booking via our booking page, by website, by Facebook, by email, in person, by telephone, or by any other means, are cognizant of the following conditions:
1. they have read and accepted our booking policy, cancellation policy and tour information.
2. they understand and fully accept the risks involved in a Wilderness Tour.
3. they are fully fit to participate in a Wilderness Tour. The operator is aware of any pre-existing medical conditions and has informed Petter Karlsson of the same.
4. the person making the booking confirms that he/she is at least 18 years old and has full authority to make a booking based on these conditions on behalf of all persons named on the booking form and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions.
