Dog Sledding Through Lapland
There’s no better way to travel through wintery Lapland than by dog sled! Be amazed by the silence that surrounds you during your winter adventure, occasionally interrupted by the howling of your huskies. Join us as you ride your own sled up into the mountains of the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve and admire the Northern Lights at night.
In a small group of up to 4 guests, we’ll spend several days far away from civilization, traveling to places only accessible by dog sled. We’ll stay in our Wilderness Cabins, which are equipped with wood stoves and candlelight. Out here in the wilderness, there’s no electricity or running water, so everyone helps out during the tour with the care of the dogs, fetching water, and gathering firewood. Whether you’re traveling alone, with a group, with parents, or with a partner, everyone is welcome!
Can everybody be part of a husky tour?
No prior experience with sled dogs is needed to join our tours. We’ll teach you everything you need to know along the way. However, a moderate to high level of fitness is required, as you may need to help push the sled, depending on the weather. If you’re unsure whether you’re fit enough, feel free to reach out to us—we can easily assess this based on our extensive experience.
It’s also important to have a good understanding of English, as our tours are led in English by international guides.
