On our wilderness expeditions you will experience Lapland in its most true form. And it is not just about sitting back and enjoying the ride. You will drive your own sled with our dogs that have won some of the toughest sled dog races in the world and learn a bit about mushing – the art of driving a dog sled. Our experienced guides will teach you how to handle the sled and work with the dogs. While you probably have trouble remembering all their names after the first day, you will get to know all their unique personalities and habits a little more every day of the journey and by the last day you will be such a strong team, that we probably have to check that none of you sneek a dog in thor luggage… 😉

The only requirement is a high level of fitness You’ll often need to help your team, especially when going uphill or through deep snow. After many years of running our expeditions we have a quite good feeling about this and we will help you decide if the 9-day tour is right for you or if starting with a shorter, 5-day tour might be better.
